We are fortunate enough to have an environment which lends itself to
learning through a broad and balanced curriculum.
Our ICT suite has a bank of computers
and a data projector, in addition to computers and data projectors in
all classrooms. Both Keystage One classrooms and Class 3 have an interactive whiteboard.
Our school library is very well stocked and we have a rolling programme of improving and adding to our stock. Pupils use the library for research as well as borrowing books to read for pleasure.
Music provision is a strength of the school and we have a dedicated
music room for the large number of peripatetic music teachers
who teach groups at our school.
Our school field is much enjoyed by all (including rabbits and other
wildlife!) Pupils access the field whenever practical for P.E.,
playtimes and to support curriculum activities. Our recently built
amphitheatre has given us a place for performance as well as a place
for end–of-term talent shows!
Two playgrounds mean that younger and older pupils can have different
play spaces when required and we have room to spread out when playing
large scale games such as tennis or netball.
